SAMUELSON HAUSE & SAMUELSON, LLP is dedicated to professional excellence in successfully and efficiently achieving their clients' goals. Our senior partner, Elliot D. Samuelson, a past president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), with forty years of experience, is a nationally recognized matrimonial attorney. Mr. Samuelson is a frequent lecturer, has written over one hundred professional articles in his field and authored four books that have become essential reading for practicing matrimonial attorneys as well as the general public. All of the partners are fully experienced and concentrate their practice in matrimonial and family law.

Elliot D. Samuelson is one of New York's most respected and published matrimonial attorneys. He is included in the matrimonial lawyers' section of the elite publication, "The Best Lawyers in America," and has appeared on national and regional television and radio programs, including
Larry King Live.

Mr. Samuelson has served as President of the New York Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the New York Family Court Inns of Court, as well as the chairperson of the Nassau County Bar Association's Matrimonial Law Committee.

He is editor of the prestigious Family Law Review for over two decades, which is published by the New York State Bar Association, and has been sought out as a frequent lecturer before bar groups and the general public. Mr. Samuelson's credentials include authorship of over one hundred professional articles dealing with subjects as diverse as custody considerations, grand parents rights to custody and visitation, evaluating stock options of business executives, measuring the enhanced earnings of non-degree and license holders, the impact of the loss of inheritance rights on property division, the dissipation of marital assets on an equitable distribution award, the loss of career opportunities of the custodial parent on the amount of support awarded and custody issues.

He is the author of the definitive legal treatise on motion practice Matrimonial Motion Practice in New York, which is at the very foundation of custody and matrimonial litigation, the acclaimed Divorce Law Handbook: A Comprehensive Guide to Matrimonial Practice an Unmarried Couple's Legal Survival Guide. He serves as Editor of the New York State Bar Association's Family Law Review and served as the Editor of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers' publication The Annual Survey of Matrimonial Law.

The late Vincent Balletta, Jr., an Associate Justice of the Appellate Division in New York, aptly described Mr. Samuelson:
